Sub-soil Investigation Work
Designing of suitable type of foundation plays main roll for the degree of stability of the structure. Selection of suitable type of foundation depends upon the soil conditions and its bearing capacities and properties at various depths. So, sub-soil investigation plays the main roll for designing of a structure and it is the basic need. Our expert Geotechnical Engineers and technicians are good enough for site exploration of soil as well as laboratory analysis of soil samples for determination of soil properties, bearing capacities etc.
Our expertise in the field of Sub-soil Investigation is,
- Wash boring for boreholes of 75mm to 150mm dia up to required depths below existing ground level as per IS code of practice.
- Carry out of Standard Penetration Tests at every 1.5m depth.
- Collection of undisturbed samples at every 1.5m depth for laboratory investigation, i.e. consolidation and Shearing parameters, permeability etc.
- Collection of disturbed soil samples at every 1.5m depth for visual inspection and classification of the soil, i.e. grain size analysis, Atterberg's Limits etc.
- Recording of the depth of the surface ground water table if made in the borehole depth.
- Preparation of Sub-soil investigation report with soil bearing capacities, pile load carrying capacities etc. at different levels including the borehole logs and all field observation and soil classifications.
Geotechnical Study by Electrical Resistivity Survey
- Geo-resistivity survey works for study of underground soil strata, ground water table, difference of soil potential for earthing, corroding properties of soil etc.
